New Subaru Trailseeker — Coming Soon to Peninsula Subaru in Bremerton
A new addition is arriving soon to expand the Subaru brand's electric lineup. The upcoming Subaru Trailseeker is a midsize crossover that builds on the foundation of the compact Solterra with more passenger room, upgraded performance, and improved practicality. Drivers from Gig Harbor to Silverdale can stay up to date here at Peninsula Subaru in Bremerton.
Performance and Driving Dynamics
The Trailseeker uses a dual-motor electric powertrain (375 horsepower) that delivers quick, smooth acceleration. Subaru estimates a 0-60 mph time of around 4.5 seconds, helpful for highway merging or navigating traffic near Bainbridge Island. An EV-specific Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system enhances handling in changing weather, while dual-function X-MODE® improves traction on loose or uneven terrain. When properly equipped, the Trailseeker can tow up to 3,500 pounds-enough for small trailers, lightweight campers, or recreational gear.
Range and Charging Convenience
A 75-kWh battery provides an estimated driving range of about 260 miles. That range covers daily errands comfortably and supports longer drives across the Kitsap Peninsula. The Subaru Trailseeker is capable of up to 150-kW DC fast-charging and includes a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port for expanded access to public stations, including Tesla Supercharger locations.
Interior Comfort and Everyday Utility
The cabin focuses on comfort and practicality. Compared to the Solterra, the Trailseeker increases passenger room and available storage. The cargo area measures 31.3 cubic feet behind the second row and grows to 74 cubic feet with the seats folded (30.4-71.8 cubic feet with a panoramic roof). Standard feature highlights include heated front seats, StarTex® water-repellent upholstery, roof rails, and a power liftgate. Available upgrades include:

A 14-inch touchscreen anchors the dashboard and includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
