How to Apply for the Subaru VIP Program
Before you start shopping at Peninsula Subaru, you'll need to request a Subaru Military Program VIP Authorization Form and prove eligibility through an ID.me verification process. Once approved, you'll receive additional details about how to present your Subaru VIP Program offer and shop for new vehicles near Port Orchard.
Which Military Members Are Eligible?
The Subaru Military Discount Program is available to nearly all current and past service members around the Puget Sound, including those who serve at Naval Base Kitsap and other installations beyond Gig Harbor:
- Active Duty or Reserve members of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force.
- Retired Military members who are entitled under statute to retired, retirement, or retainer pay.
- Veterans who were honorably discharged or released from Active Duty, up to 24 months from their discharge date.
- Spouses and domestic partners of eligible participants who also reside in the same household.
Subaru Military Discount Details
Eligible shoppers can use the Subaru VIP Military Program to receive up to $500 off when purchasing or leasing a new Subaru vehicle near Silverdale. While this discount cannot be combined with other offers, you'll automatically receive all applicable zone, regional, customer, or retailer incentives on top. Subaru VIP Military Program applicants can also apply for any special lease programs or low-rate financing offers that may be available at the time of purchase.

The program is designed to recognize active duty and reserve personnel of the U.S. Military by offering competitive pricing on a new Subaru.
Eligible participants are active and reserve personnel of the U.S. Armed Forces including Air Force, Army, Marines, National Guard, Navy, and Coast Guard and their spouses. The pricing does not extend to children, siblings, or parents of active or reserve personnel. The program does not include retired military personnel.
Participants are required to show proof of military status, and active status at the time of the Subaru vehicle purchase. This includes most recent LES, or Department of Defense documentation attesting to current duty status.
