To say that the 2015 WRX had a decent year would be a huge understatement. Ever since the 2015 WRX joined the new Subaru lineup earlier this year, it has set many records and won awards.

Recently, the WRX added another award to its trophy case by having its engine named to Ward's List of the 10 Best Engines in the auto industry. The 2015 model year of the Subaru WRX is equipped with a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder BOXER engine, which produces 268 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. Drivers can choose between a six-speed automatic transmission or Sport Lineartronic® with manual mode.

This performance is a bump up from the previous model's 2.5-liter engine because it is more efficient and produce more power with less displacement.
