We’re proud to announce that the Subaru Forester and WRX have earned the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards in their respective categories. This award serves as the industry benchmark for forecasting vehicle values and recognizes automobiles predicted to maintain their value after three years. And we couldn’t be prouder that two Subaru models have won.
How Vehicles are Evaluated
To determine which vehicles make the cut, a rigorous evaluation of each model is performed. Vehicles are evaluated in 29 separate segments, and this year the award process consisted of evaluating 284 models and looked at their used-vehicle performance, brand outlook, and product competitiveness. By the end of the evaluation, J.D. power determined that in the category of Best Compact Utility, the 2022 Forester stood above the rest, and so too did the WRX in the category of Best Sports Car.
