During the National Make A Dog's Day event, we'll be showcasing dogs in need of forever homes from shelters around the Bremerton area. Adopting a dog is a lifechanging experience both for you and the dog you're adopting. We invite anyone from around the Silverdale community to join us with friends and family to adopt a furry family member this October.
What is the National Make A Dog's Day Event?
The Make A Dog's Day event and initiative started in 2015 in partnership with the ASPCA® to help gain awareness for pet adoption. Last year alone, the event took place at over 500 Subaru dealerships across the country and helped over 20,000 shelter pets find their loving and forever homes. The event has helped not only bring awareness to the lives that shelter dogs live, but the immediate affect it has on a dog to find a family to love. We're proud to be able to take part in the National Make A Dog's Day celebration this year and encourage families from all around the Bainbridge Island area to visit us on October 22nd to get to know some of the cuddly and adorable dogs up for adoption. With many different breeds and aged dogs to meet, including many dogs with special needs that need your help, we're sure that everyone will fall in love.
