The holiday season is a joyful time for most, but it's also a time to help others in need. Peninsula Subaru is doing our part to assist homeless people in the Bremerton area by donating socks and blankets to homeless shelters. These blanket and sock donations are a part of the Subaru Loves to Help initiative, the community-focused pillar of the Subaru Love Promise.
Assist the Less Fortunate by Contributing
Peninsula Subaru cares about people in the Silverdale, Bainbridge Island and Port Orchard communities. That's why we're participating in the Subaru Loves to Help for homeless people in the area. This year, in addition to 50,000 blankets, Subaru and participating retailers will also provide 50,000 pairs of socks to homeless shelters across the country. More than 500,000 Americans are currently homeless, so we're helping them have warmth and protection this winter by donating socks and blankets.
We Look Forward to Seeing You Soon at Peninsula Subaru
Peninsula Subaru, along with more than 600 other Subaru retailers nationwide, have partnered with a shelter for those experiencing homelessness in their community and pledged to donate blankets and socks. Staff from each Subaru retailer will personally deliver their donation to the shelter in a show of support and caring. People in the Kitsap Peninsula and beyond can drop off socks or blankets at Peninsula Subaru to contribute to homeless shelters in the area. Even if you're not shopping for a car or having your vehicle serviced, you can stop by, say "Hi" and donate to the homeless in our community. We look forward to seeing you soon.
