As part of the Subaru partnership with the National Forest Foundation, Peninsula Subaru near Silverdale will be helping to replant one-million trees by 2022 in forests scathed by recent wildfires.

This Subaru reforesting project has expanded to include areas of Idaho, Oregon and Washington in addition to devastated California areas.

How does the Subaru reforestation project work in affected areas near Bainbridge Island?

Considering the Subaru Love Promise, Subaru will be using forestry professionals to plant up to one-million trees in support of post-fire restoration of areas decimated by recent wildfires. Since 2019, over 500,000 trees have been replanted in California areas seen hardest hit.

Now, an additional 500,000 trees will be replanted in Idaho, Oregon and Washington that have seen wildfires impacting those forests and wildlife therein.

As stated, " … we hope that the expansion of replanting trees in more states contributes to the revitalization of the precious resources that are our public lands and national forests," says Thomas J. Doll, president and CEO, Subaru of America, Inc.
