Subaru renovated the BRZ sports coupe for 2022. In addition to exterior styling enhancements, the powertrain also provides greater output. The vehicles also handle more efficiently. Let's take a closer look at what the new 2022 Subaru BRZ has to offer in Bremerton.
What's New for 2022?
The new BRZ models have a more rigid, stiff chassis along with being lower to the ground. The design enables the vehicles to hug the terrain in Silverdale with an extra confident grip. The stunning exterior has a shorter, rounded rear end combined with a forward sloping front end that gives the BRZ a sportier, more athletic appearance. The sides of the vehicle have C-shaped sculpts accented by midline cutouts that create an aggressive look. The front-wheel wells are artistically flared while the rear wheel wells are flared and rounded. All of the BRZ models near Bainbridge Island now come equipped with Subaru's EyeSight driver-assist and safety technology.
Performance
The coupes have a flat four-cylinder 2.4-liter engine that produces 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The new powertrain surpasses the performance of the previous year's models. The vehicles also come with either an automatic six-speed or a manual six-speed transmission. All of the BRZ coupes coming to our Peninsula Subaru location have RWD.
Technology
The 2022 models get a larger eight-inch touchscreen on the infotainment system that integrates Android and Apple smartphones. The audio system also includes a satellite radio. Bluetooth provides internet access, and drivers get a seven-inch fully digital instrument cluster that may be configured to illustrate desired vehicle information. The display center includes a tachometer that converts into a linear graph when the BRX travels in track mode.
Safety
The sports coupes available to Port Orchard consumers are also equipped with a number of driver assistance and safety features that include:
