The beloved Subaru Legacy is turning 30 this year. It was released in 1989, and it's still looking great three decades later. For its big anniversary, Subaru is breaking out all the stops. The 2020 Subaru Legacy has undergone a full redesign, and it's the best one yet. It's more comfortable, more stylish, more refined, safer... the list goes on and on. It's the best sedan we didn't know we wanted, and we can't wait to get our hands on one.

The 2020 Subaru Legacy has standard torque-vectoring all-wheel drive on every trim level, as well as the impressive Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist safety suite. There's an available turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. If those numbers sound familiar to you, they should; that's the same engine in the much-larger Subaru Ascent SUV. The new 2020 Subaru Legacy offers even more power when you want it. There's an available anti-distraction setup, the Driver Focus Distraction Mitigation System. It uses a camera and facial-recognition software to identify when you're tired, or distracted, or paying too much attention to something that isn't driving. It has been a great 30 years for our beloved Subaru sedan. We can't wait to see what Subaru does next.
