Dear Subaru,

You showed an STI performance concept at the New York Auto Show that was nothing short of mouth-watering. Many of us fans and enthusiasts have now been sufficiently tantalized and are well beyond desperate to get behind the wheel of a real-life STI vehicle inspired by the Subaru BRZ.

As the only rear-wheel drive Subaru model, the BRZ holds a special place in the hearts of performance purists and the 345-horsepower engine shown within the concept was everything we've dreamed of. The carbon-fiber additions to enhance the aerodynamics were jaw-dropping, creating an aggressive look that is quite exhilarating.

If the BRZ STI were to be added to the lot at Peninsula Subaru in Bremerton, WA, excitement would ripple through the surrounding areas. Just take a look at the following video, where the host is obviously trying remain professional, but struggling to hold back his excitement.

When the decision is made to produce this BRZ STI, a lot of drivers are going to be incredibly excited and will flock to our location at 3888 W. State Highway 16, Bremerton, WA. We can't wait to share in the excitement for yet another incredible new Subaru model and we eagerly await any further news on this hotly-anticipated model.

Sincerely,

Peninsula Subaru
