The Subaru brand has been making headlines around the world recently for a number of updates and successes, such as the arrival of the redesigned 2015 Outback and 2015 Legacy in showrooms like ours. These two new models are a part of the Subaru brand's plan to usher in a new wave of vehicles.

In 2016, all new Subaru models will ride on the same platform, thus cutting costs and development time. Additionally, each model will feature a new generation of engines. Rumors also hint at the brand's first plug-in hybrid for 2017. Let's take a look at other plans the Subaru brand has to its lineup.

  • The BRZ is expected to receive a refresh for the 2016 model year.
  • A redesigned Impreza will hit the market by early 2017. It will be built in the brand's Indiana facility, which is currently being expanded.
  • The 2015 WRX went on sale earlier this year and is expected to remain the same.

  • The fifth-generation 2015 Legacy has recently arrived in our Bremerton, WA showroom, and may receive another refresh in 2017.

  • The 2015 Outback is another newly redesigned model at our dealership and may also be due for a refresh in 2017.

  • The Forester CUV will be refreshed in 2016 as a 2017 model year.
  • The XV Crosstrek will receive a refresh for the 2016 model year and be completely redesigned in 2018.
  • A seven-seat crossover is also said to be in the works as a replacement of the Tribeca.
