Here at Peninsula Subaru, we not only like to keep our fellow fans and drivers in the Tacoma, WA informed on the latest new models, we also like to keep you updated on just how well these models are selling. The month of April was a big one for the Japanese automaker in the U.S. as over 40,000 new Subaru models were moved off of lots, reflecting a 22 percent increase over April of 2013.
Last month proved to be the best April ever for the Forester, Outback, XV Crosstrek and BRZ, but it was the Forester that is really catching the attention of American drivers as it was recently named Motor Trend's 2014 SUV of the Year. Check out just how much one dad is enjoying his Forester around town in the video clip from Subaru below.
Sales of the Subaru Forester reached 11,547 units in April, bringing the SUVs year-to-date total up to 46,937 models for an impressive yearly increase of 53.8 percent.
"Demand for the Forester has been incredibly strong," explains Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. "We are looking forward to the all-new Legacy and Outback models arriving into our retailers this summer to even further boost consumer interest in Subaru models."1
